Built around small satellites

Electron is Rocket Lab’s small-satellite launch vehicle. Its dedicated-launch approach gives a mission another way to reach its chosen orbit rather than joining a larger vehicle’s rideshare.

What the Kick Stage adds

The Kick Stage supports precise payload delivery and can perform additional orbital maneuvers. Its role is distinct from the two main stages that power the initial ascent. The configuration and sequence should be checked on the individual mission.

Follow a Rocket Lab mission

Use the Rocket Lab schedule to find current targets. Open the mission for its launch site, available video and status. Launch dates and the precision of those dates can change.
